Prayers are sent to the residents of Haiti: A 7.0 Measured Earthquake hit the carribean Island of Haiti at roughly 5p.m. Est on Tuesday January 12, 2010. The earthquake lasted about 35 seconds with two aftershocks. Many damages were caused and structures such as hospitals and the presidential palace were damaged as well.
